Garlicky green beans

Makes: 6 portions

Ingredients

  • Salt

  • 500 g fresh green beans

  • 30 g butter, softened

  • 1 clove crushed garlic

Method

  1. Wash, top and tail beans, remove side strings if needed.

  2. Leave long or cut into pieces.

  3. Add to boiling salted water.

  4. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until softened but still firm to the bite.

  5. Drain.

  6. Mix with butter and garlic.

  7. Turn into hot serving dish.
