Leftover turkey cottage pie

Ingredients

  • Leftover turkey, chopped

  • Leftover gravy

  • Leftover vegetables e.g roast potato, kumara, pumpkin, beans

Method

  1. Mix the turkey with the gravy to make a "sloppy" mixture. If more liquid is needed, use some readymade chicken stock or left over turkey stock.

  2. Put the mixture into the base of an ovenproof dish.

  3. Use a blender to make a vegetable mash with leftovers. If needed bulk the mixture out with some mashed potato.

  4. Using a fork, spread the vegetable mixture over the turkey mixture.

  5. Bake at 180°C for 30-40 minutes until piping hot.
